Slovenian photographer BOUT PETERLIN studied at the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague from 1994 to 1998. In 2000 and 2001, he was Artist in Residence at the Benetton Fabrica Group’s communication research centre in Treviso, where he worked with Olivier Toscani. Between 2002 and 2003, he completed postgraduate studies in photography at the London College of Printing. Since 2014, he has worked as a freelance photographer. At the moment, Peterlin is fully focused on implementing and sharing his expert knowledge of 19th-century photographic techniques, with an emphasis on the wet collodion negative process. He is considered one of the world’s most renowned and best photographers specialising in this technique. He runs international photography workshops at home and abroad, attended by individuals eager to learn photography skills.
